In the historical heart of Diekirch, the MH[s]D offers you a glimpse on the secrets of an often misjudged past and its reflections in today’s everyday life. Welcome

Since 2011, the Diekirch Museum of History[s] has opened its doors. For those curious about the city’s history, this address should not be ignored: Prehistoric artifacts, Roman remains, a medieval crypt, documents from the modern era, memories of the industrial revolution and current affairs… everything is on display in the five rooms of the permanent exhibition.

Next to the museum is the House of Culture, in which monthly changing thematic exhibitions or exhibitions of local, regional and international artists are shown.

Tuesday-Sunday (closed on Mondays): 10 a.m. – 18 p.m.

Closing dates: 01.01, 25.12, Sunday of carnival, Al Dikkrich
