Luxembourgian photo artist Annick Sophie “Neckel” Scholtus grew up in the countryside and graduated from a “Section artistique” at the Lycée classique Diekirch (LCD). After studying in Montpellier and Paris, she exhibited in many places. The venues range across Europe to China or the Côte d’Ivoire. Neckel Scholtus became known above all for her “Roulot’graphe”, a huge camera obscura-caravan that is both laboratory and camera.
For the book “Dikrich.Momentopnam”, the artist was again on the road in Diekirch and illuminated the town of her former school days from a new perspective. For this project, she collaborated with pupils from the LCD.
