The Musée d’Histoire[s] Diekirch / Maison de la Culture and the City of Diekirch, in collaboration with the Italian Embassy in Luxembourg, are pleased to invite the public to take part in the drawing competition entitled “On a journey with Pimpa: Draw Luxembourg!”
Pimpa, the famous character created by the artist Francesco Tullio Altan, is a little red-spotted dog who travels around the world and goes on many adventures.
Participants are invited to draw Pimpa next to an iconic element of Luxembourg, such as a monument, a landscape, a culinary specialty, or any other expression of the local cultural heritage.
The competition is open to children aged 4 to 10, who can submit their creations at the museum MH[s]D from May 8 to August 31, 2026.
The prize-giving ceremony will take place in October 2026.
The initiative aims to celebrate the friendship between Italy and Luxembourg and promote awareness of the character Pimpa.
